The Daring Professor on the Flying Trapeze
I posted 3 trapeze clips from two years ago on YouTube. I certainly could not do this with vertigo. I hope this spell passes quickly - I long to go skating and sledding and do other things that require a working internal gyroscope...

Benign Positional Vertigo
I have it. I have no idea how it happened, but it is making my life quite a bit more complicated at the moment. It says in this article that a yoga posture called the “down dog”, or Pilates are sometimes the trigger. The slightest turn of the head or looking up can cause the room to spin. I feel quite floaty and out-of-body somehow. Strange. Very strange and I hope it repairs itself quickly...

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha
Preparing for Marsha to appear in Oslo on March 6th. Writing, making, studying, improv, McLuhan... Not the futurism of appliances this time - the theme of this piece is “The Mediator is the Masseuse.”

Documenting the Document
I think I saved the hardest section of my website to finish last. Subconsciously... Not on purpose... So, here I am chipping away at it. I am squeezing the work in between all my other tasks because another round of grant deadlines is approaching and I really need the entire thing to be complete. I spent most of the day yesterday making movies of my old interactive CDroms (1999-2000). Since I can’t trust the old technology to function when I send out grant applications, I decided to document some of the interaction on screen to get the flavor of the experience. I guess it will have to do for now... So, 5 new movies are on my YouTube channel.

Scarlet Letter MeetUp
My long suffering husband drove me into NYC again this weekend to deliver The Scarlet Genotype for a show that will be in Charlotte, NC. We met up with my grad school buddies, Ed Burnam, Cynthia Atwood and Lucinda Bliss. It was too short on time, but very sweet.

Mini Bio Video
Just uploaded this video of Brad Freeman that I made in 1998 to my YouTube channel. At the time I was experimenting with very close up interviews with the camera. This is one of my favorites.
